    Matthew Allard

    FOUNDER AND MANAGING PARTNER

    Matt is the Founder and Managing Partner at Case Study Capital Partners. Prior to Case Study Capital Partners, Matt was a Partner at Brightstar Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, where he was a member of the Investment Committee. While at Brightstar, he was involved in numerous platform and add-on investments and served in both board and operational roles across portfolio companies in the services and industrials sectors. Portfolio company experience includes Amerit Fleet Solutions, Best Choice Roofing, Likewize, Novae, Qualtek, Texas Water Supply, WindsorONE, and WW Williams. 

    Before Brightstar, Matt was Head of Financial Sponsors at Stifel, where he led the firm’s private equity client coverage and execution efforts. He was a member of the Investment Bank Management Committee and had extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions and capital markets across a wide range of industries. Matt began his finance career at Citi and Bank of America, and earlier held positions in both consulting and operations.

    Matt holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he graduated with Beta Gamma Sigma honors, and a BSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan. He previously served as a Trustee of the King School in Connecticut and is a member of the University of Michigan Parents Council.

    Jeffrey Cordover

    FOUNDING PARTNER

    Jeff is a Founding Partner at Case Study Capital Partners. Jeff is also President of Corber Corporation, a private investment firm managing the Cordover family’s capital across public equities, private equity, and real estate. He also oversees the family’s philanthropic efforts through the Cordover Family Foundation and manages its art holdings via Cordover Collection. Over the past two decades, Corber has executed control and shared-control investments across the manufacturing, home furnishings, retail, and technology sectors.

    From 2002 to 2011, Jeff served as President and CEO of The Robert Allen Group, a leading designer and marketer of decorative fabrics and furnishings for the interior design trade. He remained Chairman through 2015, during which time the company maintained showrooms across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., along with a global agent network. Earlier in his career, Jeff was an investment banking analyst at Salomon Brothers and later served as Managing Member of Newhouse Investing, a residential land development company.

    Jeff holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan and is a graduate of Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and is active on the Surgery Advisory Board at Mount Sinai Hospital.

    Charles Hill

    VICE PRESIDENT

    Charlie is a Vice President and member of the founding team at Case Study Capital Partners. Prior to Case Study, he held an operational leadership role at ReMarkets, a data center services business, where he led strategic initiatives focused on growth and operational efficiency. 

    He was previously an Associate at Brightstar Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, where he was actively involved in evaluating new investments and supporting portfolio companies across the industrials and services sectors. Before Brightstar, Charlie was an Investment Banking Associate at Carl Marks Advisors, where he advised on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and strategic alternatives for family and founder-owned businesses across a range of industries. He began his career at BTIG as an Investment Banking Analyst.

    Charles holds a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Business from Cornell University and serves on the Associate Board of Youth INC.
